Minty mint

Well as if we didn’t have enough fun things to do and learn here at OHH, Here is one more thing that we are gonna do.

For some weird reason I can grow like every plant that is possible to grow in montana in the dirt or even Hydroponics, Plus the brownie points for growing a small banana tree in a pot inside the house during our lovely winter(it started with 1 and now has 3)

Well As many plant accomplishments I do have, the one that eats at me hard is mint. . . That’s right, I can NOT grow mint to save my life (from seed bought at the store) Every other seed works wonderfully except the darn mint. This year is different. One of our sponsors was kind enough to give us a bunch of fresh cut mint so we took some to the bar for my upcoming summer drink specials. The other mint clippings we have are currently in a glass jar of water and doing quite well so far they really perked up even with the hot temp outside lately.

We have several good size clippings that seem promising but it is not in a dirt filled pot yet so another mini adventure on the side. Today we went and got a root booster and a small bag of cactus mix dirt to get started now we are gonna make the magic and see what kind of plant situation we get.
