Design a raised-bed garden

Like I said last week, Planning a garden is not easy, it does take a good amount of work since there are so many details involved. Growing a garden for a family of 7 plus pets takes a lot more planning than it would for a family of 2 or 3.

With what we have collected so far . . we can stretch out to 138 inch square “box”, so good sized spot with plenty of room. . .but a picture is worth a thousand words . . I ask that you not judge my terrible sketch to harsh. . . afterall i’m a half a**ed hobbyist not an artsy person.

This idea is based on the materials that we have collected to build this specific model. 2 wood frame work things “crates” to haul construction sort stuff, one had a lid so we have our front mini fence to keep the dirt in.

The back fence is our back yard fence and we will add several of those garden tarp things that you can find at the local greenhouse. . .you know the ones that you put down to keep dandelions and such out of those cute flower beds you find in front of a cute little house that someones retired cute little grama lives in. Ya you know what i am talking about.

Don’t worry I will be posting more on this as soon as I can locate a place to buy 500 sq feet ish of decent dirt to fill and build this massive beast.

If any Central MT peeps can chime in and point me in the right direction that would be awesome.
