Drying and Planting

I have been really into learning how to make our home more self sufficient and . . .home made, i know whats in the food i make, sort of thing. . .30 is a wild year. . .

I went to the store and found some good quality but low priced prodcuts on the market side. Whole Garlic was 2 for $1.00 I snagged 3 small peices of ginger root that did have growing eyes on them for like $0.88 and a good size bunch of the cute little garden onions was like $1.35.

Not even $5.00 for easy to regrow herbs that we can definelty now use. These are things I dont currently have in the garden or harvest so I could justify the expense.

Got home and peeled a garlic took out the ones that already had green leaf growth and the ginger root and threw them into some dirt in some of my cute little pots I got from that garage sale last year in Down Town.

It seems as if I was a day late and all of the remaing garlic was set out to dry but has developed growth sprouts as well as the honey garlic jar that we made after 2 days in the honey that garlic has sprouted as well so my plan has backfired only a bit and all of them will now end up in pots to grow for next years harvest.

If I’m gonna do it, I might as well do it correctly!!  ##2026
