I have officially that point, the point where i realize i have kind of turned into my mother . . . . A SUCKER. . . . Sometimes this realization is a girl’s worst nightmare but in my case. . . kind of rare but not unusual.. . . This is almpst kind of fun. . . at least entertaining
As a kid and teen myself I brought home tons of different pets. We had a raccoon, salamander, squirrel, tons of rabbits, dogs, cats, a wild woodpecker bird . . .the list goes on and on.
My famous line that was regularly used to keep these random pets was ” Oh come on mom just give it a week and if you still don’t like the pet then I will find it a new home . . . but you actually have to try to like this pet. . . . usually after 4 days the pet won her over so it got to stay.. . . there were some that took less and only one or two that took longer. . the snake comes to mind for specifics.
The first days we had them they were adorable and fluffy and just plain cute.

Unfortunatly as of today they look like they got slobbered by a really really big slobbery dog. At least I think so anyway. . .They are the feather stage and at this point in time they are only about half way, so they look very yuckie being half feathers and half floofy down feathers.

I am really excited for next update when they will hopefully have all of their feathers and not look mangled by giant puppy slobbers.
Just to make it clear I do NOT have a big slobbery puppy. Ruebella my little cow chaser is my only dog and she is now officially an adult doggo. She is also very well behaved when it comes to our own pets and critters so no rough play there plus she doesn’t slobber unless she wants a bite of steak cuz she loves my cooking.
Keep watching for our “shop” ducks adventures.
