Most of our planned projects are super easy to get small children involved in. It obviously will get a lot more messy with younger kids but I think that’s the fun of it.
How can you live a life with a family and expect things to not get messy sometimes. Heck how can you live life at all without some things getting a little messy.
My favorite moment of my kids helping me with my crazy little projects would have to be when I start my garden every year. Both of my them like playing in dirt and they love making messes. . . .not necessarily being dirty but messes, Oh Yes!
My oldest is a great helper when it comes to sowing the seeds into the little biodegradable dirt cups my youngest is not quite 2 but absolutely loves to play with everything.
We have rabbits here lots of rabbits that they interact with on a daily sometimes hourly basis. My youngest is a big big help when it comes to caring for the bunnies, Hourly feedings of tiny handfuls of bunny pellets tossed in the cage for them to find like an Easter egg hunt(Rabbit style).
We won’t mention that sometimes leftover snacks get shared with the bunnies cuz you never know, they just might like a few nibbles of a cracker or a string cheese maybe even an oreo.
To say the least we are now more on top of cleaning cages to remove the gifts left by the little munchkin during the moments we are handling other house chores.
Keep watch for the upcoming kids page. It will get filled with easy kid friendly things to try. . .Don’t worry we will try it all to.
