Growing stuff

Once upon a time I was one heck of a garden boss. I could grow anything I wanted and I could do it all until last year.

I bought a cute $200 tiller to use for the giant garden I attempted to grow with over 2000 plants sown and roughly half way through the growing season. 500 ish grasshoppers hopped away satisfied and every single strip of green that had been previously there was gone gone gone.

That’s a price you pay for agreeing to live at least 15 miles from an actual grocery store. . . . . Thank goodness Dev seriously missed that temporary Sh*t show.

Now we are back at my place with a really good size yard that we are going to turn into a little bit of an oasis.

I love wildlife and I love pretty backyards. . .To be honest i have a huge yard and it has tons of potential. I only have 3 living pine trees in my yard and there’s just not enough greenery.

Dev helped me ultimately decide that this year we are taking back my yard from the chaos and boredom. It’s not colorful and it’s very basic for as long as I have been working websites and living here.

We recently bought the start to the oasis we are gonna try and create. So far I have picked up a lot of pollinator friendly plants to get this project started on a positive note. I specifically found flower seeds that will come back yearly so I don’t have to redo flowers every year, I will only have to weed my flower beds.

Anyone have any advice on how to keep neighbor cats from p**ping in my flower beds besides the cat hating cowdog that the Jerkface Ex left here knowing I don’t have cows or critters for her to go herd to run off all that crazy puppy energy.
